Purse Seine Used in the Sea and Small Pond
Purse seine is a type of net which is set vertically in the water. The purse seine has two ways to capture fishes: spotting the schools of fishes and attract the fishes with the floats objects. When a school of fish swim into the netting, the seine vessel will encircle the fishes and trap them in the netting. Then the net is drawn closed around the shoal like a bag. Purse seine is an extremely effective and economical method to capture the large quantities of fishes.
The purse seine is made of nylon wire, which is UV stabilized and high tenacity. The nylon purse seine netting is more effective than the gill netting, it is ideal for large quantities of fishes capturing. Besides, the purse seine has a smooth surface, it will not harm to the fishes.
